Welcome to my practice.
People pursue counseling or psychotherapy for a variety of reasons. Some wish to heal long-standing issues, while others seek to resolve a current challenge, find ways to cope more effectively with a specific issue or person, improve their relationships or make better choices in their lives. Whether you wish to address a current challenge or a long-standing issue, I am prepared to support you with compassion, empathy and understanding.
My approach to therapy is client centered and goal directed. I believe that the clients who walk into my office are strong. They have an inner strength that is the cornerstone of change. The voice that says, "Enough, I'm taking back my life." Together, we will champion that strength to discover the blockages that have held you back or kept you suffering and create solutions and options to get you back on track. I passionately believe that you deserve better -- let's get to work.
For more than 25 years, I've worked with adults presenting a wide range of issues -- including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, relationship/marital issues, life changes, loss and grief, recovery from trauma, workplace issues, sexual abuse, low self-esteem, addictions, infertility, pregnancy loss, post-partum depression and eating disorders.
"Nobody can go back and start a new beginning,
but anyone can start today and make a new ending."
